forte_forte revisits the iconic loafer by Sebago®.
from the encounter between giada forte and the celebrated
american brand, a standard for the world of handmade shoes
since 1946, the aspiration to revisit the iconic penny loafer.
a cult item from the time the classic loafer became popular
among american college students, this style was typically worn
with sports socks immediately after athletic practice by those
heading into class. traditionally, the penny slipped into the cut–
out slot on the shoe saddle was to phone home.
this shoe became an icon of the 1950s generation, and today
more than ever is positioned to reclaim its retro hype elegance.

forte_forte revisits the classic “dan” penny loafer presenting
two exclusive versions:
covered in a combination of leather and ponyskin, in chic
contrasting two–tone ivory and burgundy.
more urban and sauvage, the dappled ponyskin all–over variant
transforms the traditional model with a nod to native american
culture: edged with soft fringes, a natural rubber sole replaces
the classic sole.
the craftsmanship value is emphasised in each model, accentua–
