american brand, a standard for the world of handmade shoes
since 1946, the aspiration to revisit the iconic penny loafer.

among american college students, this style was typically worn
with sports socks immediately after athletic practice by those
heading into class. traditionally, the penny slipped into the cut–
out slot on the shoe saddle was to phone home.

forte_forte revisits the classic “dan” penny loafer presenting
two exclusive versions:
covered in a combination of leather and ponyskin, in chic
contrasting two–tone ivory and burgundy.

culture: edged with soft fringes, a natural rubber sole replaces
