Chives, originally from Europe, are aromatic herbs with a very subtle spicy aftertaste, similar to onions, but softer and fresher.
This aromatic herb is excellent combined with stews, soups, roasts, sauces, salads and pâtés. Add chives to cooked dishes to preserve their delicate flavor.
If you want to enhance the flavor of your recipes, add tarragon.
Chives are also recognized for having oxidizing, digestive and toning properties.
